In the course of 2013, Groep Bouwen acquired all shares of NV Union, with in its assets 2 plots eligible for residential development. One of these two plots is located along Britse Tweedelegerlaan in Vorst, close to Dudenpark and Van Volxemlaan, which connects the municipality with the centre of Brussels. The nearby tram stop on Volxemlaan is also called “Union”. Groep Bouwen realized a project on this location with 163 apartments, 1,750 m² of commercial space and a crèche. The commercialization of the project is in the hands of the Brussels real estate agency Trevi. The project “De Tuinen van Union” is now nearly sold out. The first owners have already moved into their apartments. Delivery of the full project, including the commercial space, is expected in Q3 2018.
